T-shirt designs are also a specialty, most notably for the fishing vessel Cornelia Marie of Deadliest Catch fame. Avalon Rose Design is owned and operated by Catherine Haugland out of her home office in northern Iowa. Catherine has been designing for several years, and she authored featured articles for the Stampington & Co. Spring and Autumn 2010 Somerset Digital Studio magazine which featured her digital artwork. She also contributed to the book Blogging for Bliss by Tara Frey.
